It's all in the shoe, right?

These are not my shoes. I did however purchase a pair of Nike's that the folks at Roadrunner assured me were the "right" shoes for my foot. I completed 10 miles today and have 3 more weeks until the half marathon. Two of my toes are covered in blisters, I'll spare you that picture, I wonder how many more blisters there would be if I had the "wrong" shoes

Great job running 10 miles. You can do the 13 no problem now. Just to make you feel better about your blisters, Sarah and Jen both get big blisters. Sarah has actually developed permanent scars where her blisters are. I guess that's the marking of a true runner and it sounds like you are on your way.

p.s. sorry I still haven't called. I'm working on it!

Nice job! I'm impressed that you can run so far. When I get on the treadmill, I feel like I've run 10 miles. Then I look at my stats and it's only been .3 miles. I'll keep working I guess.
